The Rolex Submariner 5513 Maxi … A Detailed Look

I had the chance to snap some more photos of this gorgeous vintage piece over the weekend, so here’s what came out of that photo session.

I think my favorite thing about this piece is how the black bezel has faded to a navy blue color.

This piece has plenty of “beauty marks” on it, but I think that they add to the character of it, and give the watch its vintage look.

The distinctive coin edge bezel is still in great shape, although needs a bit of cleaning to get it to rotate once again.

The tritium markers are just barely starting to develop their brownish patina, and once they catch up with the hands, should look awesome.

The crown has the signature Rolex coronet, and still winds as smooth as silk.

Here’s one last parting shot…It pains me that I won’t be keeping this piece, but I can’t wait to see what it looks like once the crystal is cleaned up a bit more, and it has been steam cleaned. Stay tuned for more photos, and look for this piece in the for sale section soon!
