My fiance and I were at an after hours sale a couple weeks ago when this sparkly little beauty caught her eye.  I’ve always encouraged her to check out watches and find one she likes and so once she put this one on her wrist I could see it in her face that we were going to have to go home with it.

The Breitling Colt Oceane with the diamond bezel is a great looking watch, and is essentially a scaled down version of the mens watch, with a diamond bezel. The case measures in at 34mm and wears very nicely even on my fiance’s smaller wrists. The Pro 2 bracelet has a beautiful fit and finish to it.

The clasp has a nice secure feel to it, and is exactly like the larger version found on the mens watches. The only downside to the high polish finish is that it is highly susceptible to desk diver marks.

The watch sits fairly tall for a 34mm case, and has a signed, screw down crown to ensure water resistance.

These watches don’t come up for sale pre-owned very often so after some quick internet research, I was able to deduce that the sale price for this watch was cheaper than I’d ever be able to find it anywhere else, so we jumped on the deal. I’m glad we did!

I have since passed this watch along, but wanted to put up a quick review on it since I think it is a great watch for the price. The Breitling Skyland Avenger is the little brother to the MASSIVE 48mm Breitling Super Avenger, but at 45mm in diameter, and 17.5mm thick, it is anything but little. The curved lug ends help the watch wear very comfortably for its large size.

My favorite thing about this watch is the combination of the nearly invisible sapphire crystal and the jet black dial with crisp white stenciled applied numbers. The antireflective coating on the crystal is so great it really showcases the dial. The polished case looks great and contrasts well with the rubber diver pro strap. The watch is also available with a leather strap and deployant clasp, or the full polished Breitling Pro 2 bracelet. I prefer the rubber strap because it offsets the shine of the watch case, and wears very comfortably in the hot summer months.
