The Orsa Sea Angler “Silver Surfer”

I used to have this watch about 6 months ago, and just came across these photos while transferring files from my old laptop to my new one.

This is a beast of a watch at 45mm in diameter in 16mm thick. I also love the crown at the 4 o’clock position.

The caseback is nicely decorated, and this is Orsa’s first Swiss made Sea Angler.

The dial has very visible markers, and a very cool, stealthy battleship grey ring around the silver inner dial. All things considered, this watch is a great value, and a hell of a deal for less than $500!

Panerai OEM Black Calf 233 Strap on Panerai 212 Chronograph

I’ve always liked this strap, and since it only comes on the Panerai 233, you don’t really see a lot of these straps out there on the secondhand market.

Some people call this strap the “tunnel” strap, because of the two grooves that run down the length of the strap.

I mounted this strap on my Panerai 1950 flyback chronograph 212. I think the black leather looks great on this particular model.

Here’s the wrist shot…This is one of my favorite OEM straps.

I like this strap because it looks very simimar to the OEM rubber strap, but without the large Panerai written down the sides.
